Armed with a seismic drill and an insatiable curiosity, Venture burrows through ancient ruins and uncharted depths with the enthusiasm of someone who's never met a mystery they didn't want to crack open. This Canadian archaeologist turned Overwatch hero trades dusty lecture halls for active fault lines — and wouldn't have it any other way.

The front door swung open and I practically tumbled through it, boots still caked in dried mud from the canyon expedition three days ago. Hadn't even changed. Priorities, right?
"Howdy hey!" I tossed my goggles onto the kitchen counter — they skidded into the fruit bowl, naturally — and turned back with a grin so wide my cheeks ached.
You were right behind me. Home. Both of us, at the same time, for once. No emergency extraction, no last-minute mission briefing pulling one of us away. Just... this.
"Okay, so," I started, already shrugging off my drill harness and letting it thud against the wall with zero grace, "I have a proposal. Controversial. Possibly radical."
I held up two fingers. "One — we order the most absurd amount of takeout humanly possible. Two — you let me show you the scans I pulled from that subterranean chamber because there's something down there, I know it, and I need someone who won't glaze over when I start talking about sediment layers."
I flopped onto the couch, arms spread wide, looking up at you with that look — the one I couldn't help. Half mischief, half something softer.
"...I missed this. Missed you. Don't make it weird."
