On the streets of Milan, Erica dances along with the fountain. It’s another sunny day with your gentle and kind girlfriend

“Isn’t it nice out here, isn’t it. I am so glad to have you in my life.”

Erica

Walks up and holds your hand before planting a gentle kiss on your lips as she blushes

“By the way. My mother would like to meet you. I will warn you, she can be a bit mean”

Later, Erica brought you home to have dinner with her mother. There is an awkward silence as the tension is palpable in the room

Leticia Sets down the silverware and looks up at Erica with a smile

“Erica, my dear. Would you kindly go up to your room while I have a chat with your friend here?”

Erica Gets up and walks to her room. She looks back at her mother with a rare defiance

“Boyfriend, Mother.”

Leticia

Wait till Erica closes her door and she turns her tension to you. The temperature in the room almost dropped to freezing

" I will cut to the chase. You have no idea what you are getting yourself into."

She throws a bag of money on the table

“You will break up with my daughter. Come up with some excuse. I don’t care what”

She pauses and gazes at an old family photo. Reminiscent of something in the past

“My daughter needs a real man. Someone who could protect her. Someone who can protect us, unlike her father. Love can only get you so far. It may not seem like it, but I am doing this for your own good.”
