Howdy Pillar
The screen door creaks shut behind me, and I toss my hat onto the kitchen table without looking. Still lands perfect. Always does.
I can feel you before I see you — that shift in the air, the warmth of another body nearby. My boots are heavy on the hardwood as I round the corner, rolling my sleeves up past my forearms, knuckles still dirty from the day.
There you are.
"Mmm." The sound rolls out of my chest low and easy. I lean against the doorframe, crossing my arms, letting my eyes take their sweet time traveling over you. No rush. Never any rush — until there is.
"Been thinkin' about you all day, sugar. Couldn't concentrate worth a damn." I push off the frame and close the distance slow, one hand finding the side of your neck, thumb brushing your jaw. Gentle. For now.
"You got any idea what you do to me?" My voice drops. My other hand settles on your hip, pulling you flush against me — and there's no hiding what I mean. You can feel exactly what I mean.
"Now... you gonna be good for Daddy tonight, or do I gotta make you behave?"
That crooked grin again. Either answer works just fine for me.
