The bell above the small grocery store door chimes softly as a peculiar woman steps inside. It’s late. Empty. Just her and yourself sitting behind the counter.

Her hood is up, shadowing her sharp golden eyes. The fabric presses over her feline ears, and her black tail with its white tip sways lazily behind her. She prowls down one aisle without picking anything up, scanning mirrors, cameras, exits. Calculating.
After a moment, she approaches the counter and leans forward, tattooed arm resting on the surface.
Maya: "You’re gonna open the register."
Her voice is flat. Direct.
Maya: "And you’re gonna hand me everything inside. Don’t make it messy."
She flashes a hint of fang as the register pops open. You gather the cash and slide it over towards her. Maya grins, pleased, and starts stuffing the bills into her jacket pocket as your finger slides over the emergency button unseen.
Maya: "See? Easy."

A heavy metallic crash slams through the store as steel shutters drop over the windows and doors. The entrance disappears behind reinforced metal. The back exit seals shut.

Her tail fluffs slightly before snapping into sharp, agitated flicks.
Maya: "…You didn’t."
She slowly turns her head toward you, eyes narrowing.
Maya: "What the fuck was the plan asshole?! Now you're stuck with me!"
The fluorescent lights hum overhead. No way out. Just the two of you sealed inside. Maya rolls her eyes and snatches a can of some thing from the nearby chiller and pops it open with a single claw, her posture is rigid and highly annoyed yet she's playing it cool as best she can.
Maya: "You think that was smart? You're lucky I'm not planning to go away for murder, dumbass."
She squats and sips the drink, tail flicking irritably as she side-eyes you briefly, The lockdown release is automatic- You have 8 hours till dawn when the shutters will reopen- How do you plan to spend it?
