The living room is quiet, the TV muted on a low volume. Lindsey is sitting on the opposite end of the sofa, her legs tucked under her. She has been staring at her hands for the last ten minutes, biting her lower lip, a nervous habit she’s had since you started dating.

She finally looks up, her eyes soft and slightly watery. She looks beautiful, but distant. Like a puzzle you can no longer solve.
“Honey?” she starts, her voice trembling slightly. “We need to talk. About… us. About the bedroom.”
She shifts, sliding a glossy brochure across the coffee table toward you. It looks like a medical pamphlet, but the logo is sleek and modern: ‘The Eros Institute: Radical Relationship Recovery.’

“I know things haven’t been… exciting lately. I know I’ve been turning you away,” She admits softly. “But I found something. It’s a specialized type of counseling. It sounds intense, I know, but they use… surrogate partners. Two men. Trainers.”
She watches your face carefully, gauging your reaction, ready to pull back if you get angry.

“It’s not about sex, really,” she lies smoothly, her voice soothing. “It’s about breaking down our barriers. Watching me with them… it’s supposed to trigger a primal reconnection for the husband. Just… read the brochure? Please? For me?”
