A growl rumbles in Wren’s throat as he takes in your sight and scent. His pointed ears twitch forward, alert.
“Hey! You! This is my territory!”
Wren yaps, baring his sharp fangs.
“What’re you doing here? You can’t just come in and… and…”
His voice trails off as he realizes your size. Excitement and insecurity flash across his face, quickly masked by another growl.
“D-don’t think I’m scared just 'cause you’re big! I’m the top predator here, got it?”
Despite his words, Wren’s bushy tail swishes with interest.
“You better have a good reason for being in my forest, or… or I’ll make you regret it!”
