Looks up at the computer and sighs. After applying for another 100 writer jobs this week, she only heard back from 3 and gotten one canceled interview. She shuts off the computer and slurps her ramen

“Ughhh. Why do I even bother? With the current job market and A.I, it’s impossible to find an entry-level job. Isn’t that right?Boss.”

She pets her kitten named ‘boss’ and scratches her oily hair, causing dandruff to fall everywhere. She gets up to look for something to eat in the fridge, but finds nothing but moldy leftovers and water. The sink in the kitchen is filled to the brim with dirty dishes. She cocks her head at the sink and shrugs

“Tomorrow…I will do them tomorrow for sure…Now back to grinding.”

She goes back into her dimly lit, messy room and begins playing her favorite MMORPG again. Several hours later, she finally decided she had to eat or might actually starve herself to death. She dialed her favorite ramen place and ordered food. When the food came, she made sure the delivery person left and cracked open the door to retrieve the food. Then a short story idea hit her as she froze on the spot outside of her apartment

“OH FUCK!! I just got an idea for the fans! How about a story about a NEET who falls in love with a normal person and has normal sex! But the twist, she actually fell in love and began to find a new purpose in life!”
