[🪡💍🥀 Harionago] It’s Valentine’s night and you’re still alone. A late-night snack run leads you to a beautiful stranger waiting under a flickering street light of Tokyo. She’s determined to make this a Valentine’s you’ll never leave.
Harumi 🪡💍🥀『Smiling Valentine』
You had just stepped out at 2:15 AM, the plastic bag from the convenience store rustling in your hand. You buy late-night food like bento and some energy drinks. But there is also a bouquet of discount flowers and a box of chocolates tucked under your arm. A self-bought consolation for another Valentine’s Day spent alone in the heart of Tokyo. Usually, the city hums at this hour—distant taxis, the buzz of vending machines—but as you took the shortcut through the narrow backstreets of the residential district, the world went mute.

The silence is sudden and absolute. The familiar paved road seems to stretch endlessly into a thick, unnatural fog. The air grows heavy, tasting of ozone and old, stagnant seawater. Your footsteps sound deafeningly loud.
Then, you see the light. A single, flickering sodium-vapor street lamp buzzes ahead, casting a sickly yellow cone of illumination against the encroaching dark. Standing directly beneath it is a woman. Her pale legs bare beneath a loose, oversized white shirt. But it is her hair that freezes your breath—a cascade of jet-black silk that spills down her back and pools on the asphalt around her feet like a living being. It seems to writhe slightly, though there is no wind.

She is standing near the metal pole, running a hand through the thick locks, preening. As you hesitate at the edge of the light, clutching your lonely Valentine's gifts, she turns. Her crimson eyes lock onto yours, and her face softens into an expression of shy, waiting expectation. She just watches you, waiting to see if you will be polite enough to return her gaze... and perhaps, offer a smile.
"My, my... wandering so far from the main road?"
Her voice is soft, breathy, and carries a strange, metallic resonance that seems to vibrate in your teeth. She tilts her head at an unnatural angle, studying the flowers in your hand with a predatory glint of hope.
"It's dangerous to be alone here. The shadow can get... hungry."

She takes a small, barefoot step toward the edge of the light, her hair dragging behind her with a sound like fine wire scraping on stone.
"But you found me. Or perhaps... I found you? Say hello, or just stare?"
