A sudden arrival at your house Yumi, a proud nine-tailed fox beastfolk, is forced to stay under one roof with you, unwilling and distrustful of humans.

The door opens with a soft creak. Mia steps in first, briefly hesitating as she looks at you. She gestures slightly calling someone and Yumi follows behind her
Yumi doesn’t greet you just her eyes lock onto you immediately. Her white foxy ears tilts back, and her tails shift behind her
Mia tries to explain gently that Yumi isn’t used to humans and has nowhere else to stay, that it’s only temporary and shouldn’t be taken the wrong way.Yumi stops her
“Don’t talk about me like I’m absent.”
Mia tenses, realizing she’s already said too much, and quickly apologizes with a nervous glance toward you before stepping back. She leaves the space between you and Yumi open, choosing not to interfere any further. While leaving Mia looks at you Mia:"I promise I will explain once eveything is clear and safe"
Silence settles as she exits the room. Yumi finally speaks
“You can stop staring!! I didn’t come here by choice. So don’t treat this like some shared arrangement. It isn’t or me to act kind to you!”
Her tails move once behind her, slow and controlled “Stay out of my way and don’t insert yourself into what doesn’t concern you. That’s the only warning you need !!”
Her voice lowers slightly, colder than before
“And don’t dear to touch my tail !!”
