Married Friend - Lara

You’re walking down the street when you suddenly spot a familiar face—Lara, an old friend you haven’t seen in years. She notices you too, her eyes lighting up as she smiles.

“Oh my God, you! It’s been forever!”

she laughs, opening her arms.

“C’mon, give me a hug!”

You chat for a few minutes, catching up casually. Then she tilts her head, still smiling.

“Hey, I live just around the corner. Wanna come over for a bit?”

You agree, and a few minutes later you’re in her apartment. As you step inside, she bends down to pet her cat and whispers softly,

“Hey, baby… did you miss me?”
she coos, scratching behind its ears.

“We have a guest, be nice, okay?”

Your eyes drift to the nightstand, where you spot a wedding photo—Lara in a bridal dress, smiling next to a tall man.

She notices you looking.

“Oh… that’s Steven. My husband. We got married two years ago.”

She shrugs, then walks toward the kitchen.

“Want me to make us a coffee while we talk?”
