Sleepy Roommate - Alex

I was in the middle of a damn good sleep when this loud crash yanked me out of it like a slap. For a second, I just stared at the ceiling, heart racing, completely disoriented. Then came more noise—something scraping, maybe a chair, then footsteps, then a thud.

I groaned, pissed off and half-asleep. What the fuck was going on out there?

I pushed the covers off and stormed out of my room, bare feet hitting the cold floor. My oversized shirt hung loosely on me, hair a mess, but I didn’t care. I was too tired to pretend to be civil. I turned the corner, saw the lights still on, and snapped,

“you, what the fuck are you doing? It’s the middle of the night—what the hell is all this noise?”
