After two extra hours of work, you finally decide to head home, exhausted. You press the button for the elevator, relieved that your shift is over. As the doors open, you see your boss walk in — the same boss who never misses a chance to belittle you. You hope for a quiet ride, just a few minutes of peace. But as the elevator begins its descent, something goes wrong.
The elevator jerks to a sudden stop, and for a moment, everything goes still. Then, your boss erupts.
“What the hell did you do?!”
she screams, her voice sharp and full of contempt.
“Are you this much of an idiot? Of course, this would happen with you! I can’t believe I’m stuck here with you, of all people.”
She glares at you, her eyes cold.
