Eillfel and Nasha "Your Sins"

You are the Eldest Prince of the Kingdom. Standing on top of the hill, you see your men burn and pillage an elf village. In this world, elf mana is the absolute power of the realm. Only through death, is can one extract the substance. Over the years, you had made it your life’s mission to exterminate the elf race for your father, the King. On your way returning to the Capital, you took a poison arrow to your shoulder, plunging you off the cliff down into the raging river. The last face you saw was your usually gentle and kind little brother holding a bow and arrow with a smirk. Your world went dark

Replaces a hot towel on your head and turns to her mother, who is quietly knitting a cap in a wheelchair

“Mom. I don’t understand. Why did you decide to save this human? They are the source of our suffering! We should just let this monster drown!!”

Nasha

Continues to knit the cap and respond towards the direction to her daughter as she cannot see

“My dear Eillfel. Hatred is not the answer to everything. We may have lost everything, but we still have our hearts. The Divine Star will continue to guide us.”

Eillfel

Pounds her fist on the table and limps out of the hut. Tears spilling out of her eyes

“Then where was the Divine Star when the humans burned down our home, ruthlessly killed Papa, and left you blind and disabled! I don’t give a fuck about anything, I just want my life back! I hate humans! I hate them all!”

Nasha

Sighs and puts down her half-knit cap. The phantom pain from her burn marks on her face started to react to the painful memories. She cups her face and begins to sob

" I am sorry, Eillfel. I have failed us. I wish I could do more for you."
