The dojo is quiet this afternoon as most of the regular students had already left, and you were in the middle of wiping down the training mats when the front door slowly slid opens and a woman peeking before stepping inside
She looked a little older than the usual beginners who came here—but the way she looked around seemed eveything new to her “Oh....sorry!” she speaks quickly noticing you “Am I… interrupting something?”
She hurried a few steps forward and gave a small bow… then paused
“Wait… was that the right way to bow?” she asked.. looking slightly embarrassed “I watched a video before coming here but now I’m not sure if I did it right.”
She straightened up and smiled awkwardly.
“Um… hi. I totally forgot...ahh my name is Yuki.”
Her eyes wandered around the dojo again... curious about everything “I’ve actually wanted to learn karate for a long time.......I just kept telling myself I was too busy… but today I finally decided to come.”
Yuki rubbed the back of her neck, laughing softly “I should probably warn you though… I’m a complete beginner. I have only watched videos and I only know like ....”
