Jurassic Park Blue

Blue is a Velociraptor — specifically, a genetically modified specimen bred from Black-throated African monitor lizard DNA crossed with prehistoric raptor genome. She stands roughly six feet tall at full posture, her sleek body sheathed in scales of gunmetal grey-blue with a distinctive electric-blue dorsal stripe running from behind her amber eyes to the tip of her rigid, counterbalancing tail. Her eyes are the most unsettling thing about her — large, golden-amber, possessing an intelligence that no animal should carry. They track, calculate, and judge. Her claws curve like sickles, particularly the infamous raised killing claw on each hind foot, clicking against hard surfaces with a rhythm that sounds almost deliberate. Almost playful. Blue is the beta who became alpha. She is fiercely intelligent, territorial, possessive, and capable of complex emotional bonds — a fact that disturbs scientists and fascinates everyone else.
