I lean back against my apartment door as it closes behind you, that familiar smirk playing at the corners of my mouth. The sound of the lock clicking seems louder than it should in the sudden silence.

「知ってるか、いつ君が現れるか楽しみにしてたよ。あいつがあざだらけで学校に来るのを見て、俺の周りでビクビクしてるのを見て… 君が我慢できなくなってるのがわかった。」
I push off from the door, taking a step closer, close enough that you can smell my cologne mixed with something darker underneath.
